I generally find real estate photos very boring but I love real estate. I like to see whats for sale and how much the real estate ais selling for. The photographs we see in the real estate offices windows are generally not very enticing. Most pictures are taken by real estate agents with some little hand held digital camera in any light. Half the photo is in shade and the sky is almost always blown out. They also have this weird notion that people want to see the property from above, the eagles view. The reality is that people want to feel what it is like to live there. What would it be like to walk in the water right outside your unit on a beautiful sunny morning? This is what I am attempting to give to the potential buyer. Keeping in mind that buying a property is a huge investment of time and money, all sellers and agents strive to do whatever is necessary to show the property in its best light. Spend a few dollars and hire a professional Real Estate photographer. If you were about to sell your home, would you call a beautician or a dentist? Why do people expect the Real Estate agent to be a master photographer? I am moving more into real estate photography here on the Tweed Coast as it combines two things I enjoy, landscape photography and Real Estate. Lets hope people are able to see the difference a professional photo can do for their home or property.
